IMAJA Mojokerto Students Show Reog at the Inauguration of DNS UAC

Mojokerto, Syifa News - The inauguration event for new students at Universitas KH. Abdul Chalim (UAC), held as part of the Dedication of New Student (DNS) 2025 program, took place lively on Monday night (10/ 6/2025). One of the most captivating performances came from the Ikatan Mahasiswa Mojokerto (IMAJA), who showcased the traditional Reog Ponorogo dance—an iconic cultural heritage from East Java rich in meaning and values of togetherness.


The energetic choreography performed by IMAJA members, combining the distinctive Reog movements with traditional costumes, successfully mesmerized the audience. Their stage performance created an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and excitement among students gathered across the campus grounds

The Reog performance by IMAJA has become a tradition in every DNS event. Through this presentation, students from Mojokerto strive to introduce and foster appreciation for regional culture among new students from various parts of Indonesia.
The organizing committee noted that IMAJA’s performance was one of the most memorable highlights of the DNS series. Beyond entertainment, the performance carried a strong message about the importance of preserving cultural identity amid the rapid pace of modernisation.

Through this activity, IMAJA hopes that the young generation will continue to nurture a love for regional culture and take an active role in promoting Indonesia’s cultural richness, especially within the UAC campus environment.

A sense of pride was shared by all students who attended the event. They expressed that IMAJA’s performance not only entertained but also beautifully showcased the richness of Indonesian culture that deserves appreciation from everyone, including international students. According to them, the powerful and professional Reog performance proved that Indonesian local traditions are capable of captivating audiences from all backgrounds.

UGrowth Vol. 2 TBI UAC: Exploring Unity, Embracing Diversity

Abdul Chalim University (UAC) held its annual event titled UGrowth Vol. 2 with the theme “Exploring Unity, Embracing Diversity.” This event served as a forum for character building, collaboration, and awareness of the importance of diversity among students.
